I'm a communications and media pro, business professional, and serial entrepreneur who loves big ideas and working with visionaries to achieve worthy goals.

My public endeavors began with an independent blog focused on policy and politics and led to gigs as a commentator, public affairs television host, political reporter for a national publication, and editor-in-chief of a nonpartisan news organization.

I was part of the startup team and sat on the executive board at The Nevada Independent, Nevada's go-to publication for news and opinion on policy, politics, and government. I served for five years as managing editor and two years as editor-in-chief before leaving in late 2023 to work as a consultant and spend time on personal projects.

Between 2008 and 2013, I was:

• Host of  public affairs program "Nevada Week in Review" (Vegas PBS)
• Co-anchor of daily public affairs show "The Agenda" (News 3/NBC in Las Vegas)
• A political & elections commentator (NPR, KNPR in Las Vegas, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, Sky News-London)
• A panelist for KUNV's weekly public affairs show "Our Metropolis" (Las Vegas)
• A political analyst (News 13/ABC in Las Vegas)
• An elections reporter for National Review Online 

Prior to my 15 years of journalism work, I was part of a number of business endeavors including co-founding several startups. Those experiences — and the successes and failures that came with them — served as an invaluable real-world education. My executive experience cuts across four GICS sectors and includes overseeing teams from five to more than 100 employees.
